Zlatni Rt near Rovinj is otherwise known as the Golden Cape. It was the first forest to be conserved in Croatia during 1948. It is an important park because of its botanical worth. Zlatni Rt covers 52 hectares. There are several different types of pine trees to be found including Aleppo and Brutian, Autochthonous macchia can be seen in abundance and there are also Himalayan cedar trees.
