The Zrinsko/Frankopan castle and park in Severin na Kupi was the estate of the Frankopan family. The castle was first mentioned in historical documents in 1558 and it is a one storey building with outside cylindrical towers surrounding it. The castle was restored in 1803 by Count John Orsia and today is in a derelict state. The castle is well worth visiting for the architecture.
